Senior SEM Manager

Job description

We’re looking for a Senior SEM Manager in Berlin to manage and scale our Google search ads. You will be responsible for the global strategy and execution of SEM campaigns, reporting directly to the Head of Demand Generation and working closely with our Content creators, designers, Business analysts and Product Marketers on a daily basis. If you have experience managing 7 figure budgets, lead generation, and a passion for data, we can't wait for your application!

You will: 

  • Manage the global strategy and setup of our SEM campaigns incl. structure, keywords, bidding, tracking and attribution
  • Effectively manage a 7-figure annual budget and scale through strategies like automatically generated landing pages, personalization and automated bidding.
  • Build forecasting models based on website behavior in order to optimize for Google’s auto-bidding algorithms (tCPA and/or tROAS)
  • Build and A/B-test landing pages and lead-gen forms, in order to convert visitors
  • Measure ROI with tools like Google Analytics and Tableau and report to management
  • Collaborate with other teams, like product marketing and BI in order to achieve business goals and guarantee a consistent brand voice

Job requirements

We are looking for people with: 

  • A passion for Google Ads, paid search optimization and data
  • At least 3+ years experience with performance marketing and SEM campaigns
  • A successful track record
  • Strong fluency in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • An expertise in bidding strategy and targeting
  • A strong knowledge on how to set up A/B tests in order to iteratively improve landing pages and ads
  • Experience with B2B/SaaS/Leadgen or Amazon is a big plus
