Data Processing Information

As part of our recruiting process we (Sellics Marketplace Analytics GmbH; abbrev. Sellics) collect and process personal data from you.

Which data do we collect from you?
In order to be able to contact you and to review your application we collect the following data from you:
title, name, address, contact details, your email address and your telephone number;
information and details about your skills, qualifications, work experience, education and your employment history;
information and details about your current employment and remuneration;
information about your work status in Germany;
information regarding travel restrictions or disabilities;
We collect this information form different sources, as part of the application form or if you upload files and documents like certificates or CVs to us. In addition, we also collect this information during phone or personal interviews with you. 
Why do we process your data?
We need to process your personal information as part of our recruitment process. It's needed to enter into a contract with you.
Who has access to data?
We will only share your data for the purpose of recruiting. The people involved include HR and the recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process and managers in the business area you apply to or other business areas within the company where the HR team deems your application to be suitable. If the respective job is not offered by Sellics itself it may forward the information to the company offering the job as stated in the offer. If the job requires stays in foreign, particularly non-European countries and companies, it might be necessary that the information will be forwarded to the respective network companies, all of which are subsidiaries of Sellics Marketplace Analytics GmbH itself.
To store and process applications we use a third-party software provider which is located in Europe.

How do we process your data?
We only use your data for the purpose of recruiting. In order to remove duplicates that were created unintentionally by you, we can merge profiles that belong to the same applicant. If you consent to join our recruiting pool for future employment opportunities, we will use search and reporting functionalities of the recruiting software.

How do we protect data?
We take data security of your data very seriously. We have internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed. The data center for application data is located in Austria and certified according to ISO 27001.

For how long do we keep data?
If your application for employment isn't successful, we will keep your data for 6 months after the relevant recruitment process. If you agree to allow us to keep your personal data for future employment opportunities, we will keep your data for an agreed period with you. At the end of that period or if you withdraw your consent, your data is deleted or anonymised.
If your application for employment is successful, personal data collected in the recruiting process will be transferred to your Human Resources file and kept during your employment. Data processing for employees will be provided in a new privacy notice.

Your rights:

As a data subject, you have a number of rights. You can:
access and obtain a copy of your data on request;
require the organisation to change incorrect or incomplete data;
require the organisation to delete or stop processing your data, for example where the data is no long  necessary for the purposes of processing; and
object to the processing of your data where is relying on its legitimate interests as the legal ground for processing.
